1995 Miami - San Diego Voyage

In June of 1995 I set sail from Miami, bound for Seattle, single handing almost the entire way.  I made it as far as San Diego.  To the left is an interactive map, from my first web site, with links to the journal I made as I traveled.

Origins

This page has genealogy, photos, writings, and oral history related to my great-great-great-grandfather Jacob Knaus (b. 1810) of Knob Knoster, Missouri.  He is descended from Lukas Knauss who emigrated from Germany about 1723.
